Tug “Urgal” of Pella 16609 design is preparing for a long voyage

Pella Shipyard is finishing the construction of the tug “Urgal”, the second vessel from the set of tugs for AG “SUEK”. The tug has successfully completed sea trials and as its predecessor t/b “Tugnuy” will go by its own power to the operation area – port Vanino (Far East of Russia).

«Tugnuy» has passed the danger area

The tug “Tugnuy”, constructed at our shipyard for the AG SUEK company, continues its voyage to the port Vanino. Presently the vessel has passed the Gulf of Aden and now holding its way to the next point of destination at Sri Lanka. The tug is equipped with main engines CAT 3516 with a total power capacity of 4000 h.p.

«KLASKO-1» is commissioned

T/b KLASKO-1 was commissioned to the customer and already started to work in the port of Klaipeda. The tug has a total power capacity of 4500 h.p., develops a bollard pull of 55 tonnes ahead, is equipped with forward and aft towing winches, and additionally has FiFi functions.

The tug Grifon-7 has been launched

Launching of the tugboat Grofon-7, the second tug that was built for the towage company “Grifon Ltd”. The tug of total capacity of 2388 kW is prepared for operation under hard ice conditions. During November it will be commissioned to the customer.

Signing of the contract with the SOVKOMFLOT company

In the nearest future the SOVKOMFLOT plans to sign a contract with our company for the  building of 4 tugs with a  bollard pull of 55 tonnes each.



Sea trials for t/b «KLASKO-1» are finished

T/b KLASKO-1 which is under construction for operation in the port of Klaipeda has successfully passed its trial runs. In the nearest future the vessel will be commissioned to the customer. The tug has a  total power capacity of  4500 h.p., develops a bollard pull of 55 tonnes ahead, is equipped with forward and aft towing winches, and additionally  has FiFi functions.



«Tugnuy» has completed the first half of its journey

A month after its departure from the port of St. Petersburg, the  tug, constructed at our shipyard for the SUEK company ( t/b «Tugnuy» of Pella 16609 design), has reached the  port of Said (Suez canal). The tug, equipped with main engines CAT 3516 with a  total power capacity of 4000 h.p., follows its course to the  port of Vanino (Far East of Russia). A similar delivery was made last year with t/b «Bikin» of Pella 16609 design. At present, the «Bikin» is being operated by the Rosneft Oil Company in the port of Nakhodka.



The building of the tugboat «Sevruga» is finished

Building works are finished and all trials tests were successfully fulfilled on  the tug «Sevruga». The vessel is completely ready for commissioning to the customer – the Ust-Luga Company.



The works on increasing the shipbuilding quay have begun

The works have begun on the creation of an additional shipbuilding quay to ensure the continued  growth rates of the building and delivery of Pella`s vessels. The length of the new quay will be about 100 metres that will provide an additional 3-4 places for mooring both constructed vessels, and vessels under construction.



Works on the preparation for the launching of the tug “Urgal” have come to an end

Works on the  preparation for the  launching of  the tug, “Urgal”  – the second tug of Pella 16609 design for the SUEK company - have come to an end. This vessel is also to make a "global cruise" from St. Petersburg  to the port of Vanino before the end of the current year.
