 September,22-25. Open JSC “Pella” participated into 10th International exhibition of shipbuilding, navigation, ports activity and ocean and shelf reclamation “Neva 2009”. Samples of the production of civil shipbuilding made by the enterprise were exhibited. Special attention and interest of the exhibitors and numerous of visitors were paid at new projects of vessels, designed by the yard considering tendencies of world auxiliary fleet shipbuilding and operation practice development.

One more tug of the 90600 design has been prepared for delivery to the fleet assistance group of the RF Navy. The vessel having already got the full marks from specialists during the IMDS-2009 has been delivered to the fleet in advance of the terms stipulated by the contract.

Tugboat “Ratibor” has been launched

Tugboat “Ratibor”, the second out of four tugs of the 16609 design built against the order of Open JSC “Sovcomflot” has been launched. Much like its predecessor “Radomir” the tug is equipped with a propulsion unit of capacity 3000 kW and an effective external fire-fighting system, fitted with the equipment from the leading world manufacturers.

The tugboat “TAK-6” delivered to the client

The tugboat “TAK-6” (Design 16609) with a bollard pull of 55 tons at the total capacity of two main engines “CAT 3516” of 4500 h.p. was built and delivered for operation at an earlier date agreed in the contract. The most modern equipment has been installed at the vessel and so it is able to carry out wide range of functions.
The ordering company is UAB «Towmar Smit Baltic» - subsidiary of one of the largest international cargo shipping companies «Smit International Overseas B.V.»

Signing of contract with Primorsk Oil Terminal

Open JSC “Pella” has concluded the contract on delivery of the multifunction escort tugboat of new design ÏÅ-65 building of which has been actively proceeded at the present time.
The propulsion system with total capacity of 4 MWth with “Rolls-Royce” azimuth thrusters “US-255” will allow developing bollard pull of 63 tons and holding force at escort up to 76 tons providing escort, piloting and canting of heavy-tonnage vessels with a displacement up to 150 000 tons.
Besides the tugboat is able to carry out wide range of duties such as breaking ice 0,8 m. of width, rescue and fire-fighting operations, oil spill response, transportation of goods and so on.

The tugboat “Taymen” is delivered to the client

The trials successfully over and the tugboat “Taymen” (Design 16609) has been delivered to the client – Open JSC “Ust-Luga Company”. It is the fourth vessel built for operation at a new and modern port.
